The Colorado TBI trust Fund is a program of the Colorado Department of Human Services, which was established to provide services to individuals with traumatic brain injuries, and to support TBI research and education in our state. Revenue for the program comes from surcharges placed on traffic tickets for speeding, helmet requirement for minors, DUI, and DWAI violations. The Brain Injury Association of Colorado contracts with CDHS to provide application intake and eligibility for the care Coordination and Services portion of the Colorado TBI Trust Fund.
