Senior Helpers helps seniors and special needs adults live independently with a strong focus on quality of life for the individual and peace of mind for their family. To that end, the company’s team of professional staff provides dependable and affordable care to seniors and special needs adults in the comfort of their own homes or wherever they may live. Care options span the full range of personal care (i.e., ambulation, eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, personal hygiene) and companion care (i.e., meal preparation, medication reminders, laundry, housekeeping, errands, transportation, personal companionship) for individuals living in private residences as well as individuals in independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, hospital, and hospice facilities, including specialized assistance for individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia, brain injuries, and certain neurological disorders.

To The Rescue
We work with many different individuals, of all ages, not just seniors. We are a Program Approved Service Agency and a large part of our consumer population is made up of folks on the Developmental Disability Waiver; these consumers range in age from 5 years old up through late 60's. We also work with individuals outside of the DD Waiver who have brain injuries, as well as dementia, Alzheimer's and other related conditions.
We have an Adult Day Program for consumers 18 years old and over; this program provides facility based services (on site) like crafts, cooking, singing, light exercise, book readings, computer skills, to name a few things, as well as off site services with trips into the community to the library, parks, malls, museums,et. We also provide in-home-care, including personal care, respite, mentorship, house cleaning, companionship, repairs and maintenance and yard services for individuals of all ages. And we provide transportation for appointments, errands, shopping and to our Day Program. We are not a skilled care agency, so we do not do any of the more "medically" related services like PT, OT, Nursing, etc.

Visiting Angels
Although most of our clients are seniors, we also serve the brain injury population. The most common tasks we perform are bathing, toileting, transfer assistance and meal preparation. Our staff are very experienced and compassionate, and we work very hard to match caregivers very specifically to each client that we serve.
Our services are private pay, and the average rate is $21/hour. Please let us know if we can ever be of any further assistance.
