AAC Specialists, LLC is a private practice group of Speech Language Pathologists specializing in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). We serve only the adult population and specialize in AAC and Traumatic Brain Injury. The individuals we serve are seen in the natural environment including home, work, day programs and in the community. As a practice specializing in Augmentative and Alternative Communication, we provide primarily high technological (speech generating device) as well as low technological solutions for individuals with impairments of communication who require strategies, augmentation or an alternative form of communication to meet communication needs and achieve independence. Services include evaluation, treatment, customization and training for individuals and their support systems. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare and most private insurances as well as are contracted with the Trust Fund.
